Synopsis[]

Computerized dating booths appear out of nowhere and all the girls in Beverly Hills, including Sam, Alex, and Mandy, are addicted to them. They are introduced to their ideal boyfriend in the process. But Clover suspects something's wrong and decides to get to the bottom of it, even though Jerry insists otherwise. The villain wants revenge after being rejected on Valentine's Day by his girlfriend.

To make matters worse at the time of the events Beverly Hills High School's valentine's day dance was due to take place and all of the girls including Sam and Alex decide to go to the dance with their computer dating boyfriends rather than with one of the boys from the school. Brainwashed thanks to their ideal boyfriends Sam and Alex believe that Clover is jealous over their date matches and is deliberately trying to break them up. The pair refuse to listen to Clover and then decide to disown her as a friend saying that she had the opportunity for happiness but blew it on her dating hiatus. Sam and Alex then walk off to get ready for the valentines dance leaving Clover crying in the process. Clover is soon attacked by the villain and, seeing his bag, realizes it’s Eugene Snit, the son of the owner of Glittery Snit. At the dance, Clover manages to defeat and expose Eugene to everyone and repairs things up with Sam and Alex.

In the B-story, after Clover dumps her last boyfriend, Chris, after he bought tickets to a monster truck rally, she decides to go on a dating hiatus. She stops being on hiatus when she started a real matchmaking service at the end of the episode.

  • This is one of the few episodes Sam, Clover, and Alex do not get WOOHPed.
  • It is never explained why Eugene used his revenge scheme at Beverly Hills High. (It is possible that his ex-girlfriend was a student at Beverly Hills High.)
  • It is revealed that there is a private school in Beverly Hills called the Institute for Gifted Teens, where Eugene is a student.
  • Clover calls Mrs. Snit "Sir" instead of "Ma'am" before fleeing the jewelry store; it is possible that Clover said that out of fear since Eugene called Mrs. Snit "mommy" a few moments before.
  • This is one of the few episodes that Mandy appears in where, without being brainwashed, she is never antagonistic to the spies.
  • Eugene's device most likely used stock images of people found on Internet sites, since the real "Chet" appeared at the end of the episode.

  • Goof: At the dance there is a girl with short blond hair and glasses whose dress is inconsistent. At times it's a long brown dress with short sleeves, then it has straps instead of sleeves, and then it's light blue with straps. However, it could be 2 different girls with the same hairstyle and glasses, though unlikely.
  • Goof: Alex said Marco like Sam's hair up, but Sam got her hair down.
  • Goof: When the girls are yelling at Eugene, the arm of a girl who appears to be behind Caitlin is over Caitlin's body.
