Biography[]
Daryl is seen in the episode "The Iceman Cometh". He is the president of the Beverly Hills High chess club.
After Clover tells him that her schedule is booked "indefinitely" when he tries to ask her out multiple times over the course of a week, he says he guesses what people say about her is true. When Clover asks what that is he says that she's an "Ice Queen" leaving Clover in shock.
Clover attempts to date him at the end of the episode after deciding that she no longer wants to be known as an Ice Queen but Daryl turns her down by telling her that this time his schedule is booked indefinitely.
Stunned at his rejection, Clover runs after him and says that he doesn't understand and that she's really good at chess now, suggesting they have something in common but Daryl just walks away.
Trivia[]
- Another interest of Daryl's is poetry. He writes a poem for Clover that she finds taped to her locker.
- Clover rejects Daryl due to him being the president of the school's chess club. In her opinion this made him uncool. Despite initially blushing at the note he left her, once she sees his name she throws it in the trash and huffs quote, "Puh-lease, you don't actually think I'd ever date the present of the chess club!"
- Samantha seemed to disagree with Clover's harsh treatment of Daryl as she asked her why she would not date him just because he was the president of the chess club and frowned visibly when Clover rejected him.
